About Us

The Grow In Mapleton Project started with a Town Meeting Initiative where a team of six applied
for a grant from the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.  We received a grant to promote
and advertise Mapleton so that the community can maintain the businesses and services that
we have and promote future growth.

Our first objective was to create a new website that would reach outside our city limits and
promote Mapleton as the great place to Grow your family, Grow your business, Grow in Mapleton!   The goals were to promote our school and increase enrollment, our churches, our home values,
build up the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Agency, and strengthen
our business environment. 

We like to color outside of the lines and find new technologies to promote Grow In Mapleton.
