Welcome to Mapleton

Mapleton is a city of approx. 1700 residents. It is located 19 miles south of Mankato at
the junction of State Highway 22 and State Highway 30.

Grow In Mapleton because we are a small town with a big heart.  We have many services including “care of people” services with daycares, an assisted living facility and nursing home along with a medical clinic, drugstore, and dentist.  Many goods and services are available without leaving the convenience of our town. If we need a big city, Mankato is only 20 minutes away with malls and colleges.

Mapleton offers a diverse business community including medical & dental facilties which offers its residents many amenities not normally found in a town its size. The City also has a significant agricultural industrial base which supply a lot of jobs for the community's residents. The city of Mapleton is proud to be part of the Greater Mankato regional marketplace.
