As the mayor of the city of Mapleton, I would like to welcome you to our city.
Mapleton is a small rural community that prides itself
in traditional family values and good citizenship. It is a great place to raise a family, free of the social problems of the big city. People know each other, look out for each other and are willing to help each other in times
of need.
Maple River Schools is headquartered in Mapleton. Our community is very supportive of our schools because of our citizens’ deep belief that a strong K-12 education will help produce well rounded, responsible, productive citizens.
We have a wide variety of businesses that provide an exceptional selection of goods and services, so citizens do not have to drive to a bigger city for them. The “care of people” businesses stand out in Mapleton with many daycares, an assisted living facility and nursing home along with a clinic, drugstore and dentist.
